Most essential services—such as supermarkets, pharmacies, and larger restaurants—are located in La Caletta (about 10–15 minutes by car) or Siniscola. During the summer season, however, Capo Comino offers a small grocery shop, a newsstand, several cafés, restaurants, and pizzerias.
A car is highly recommended. In return, you’ll enjoy peace, privacy, stunning natural surroundings, and easy access to beaches that many visitors describe as among the most beautiful they’ve ever seen.

There are a handful of small and medium-sized hotels and holiday residences in the Capo Comino area and along the Siniscola coastline.
They provide the traditional comforts of hotel accommodation, including breakfast, reception services, and daily housekeeping. However, they rarely offer the same sense of privacy or immersion in nature that you’ll find in accommodation surrounded by the pine forest.
For shorter stays or for travellers who prefer everything taken care of, they can still be an excellent choice.
Camping and Glamping
The area also has several campsites, some offering fully equipped bungalows and chalets.
They’re ideal for travellers who love the outdoors and want to experience nature as closely as possible. If, however, comfort, privacy, and generous living space are your priorities, a holiday home is generally the better option.
Practical Tips for Staying in Capo Comino
- Do your grocery shopping in La Caletta or Siniscola, where you’ll find larger supermarkets and a wider choice of products.
- Bring a bicycle—or rent one locally—to explore the area at a relaxed pace.
- Book well in advance, especially for July and August, as the best accommodation fills up quickly.
- Pack insect repellent. Mosquitoes can be present on humid summer evenings, particularly near the pine forest.
- Plan at least one day trip to Berchida, Bidderosa, and Capo Comino Beach. These spectacular beaches are well worth a dedicated visit.
